Construction Begins on Ngetta Spiritual and Social Centre, Lira City

Construction is underway on the Ngetta Spiritual and Social Centre in Lira City, following a groundbreaking ceremony held on 13th June 2026.

The ceremony brought together leadership of the Missionary Sisters of Mary Mother of the Church (MSMMC) and the Lira Diocese the client body behind this development.

Rostwa Engineers, engaged as structural designer and main contractor, will deliver a 32-room accommodation block, multi-purpose conference halls, a restaurant, and a linked service block across the site. The centre is designed to support spiritual formation, retreats, and community engagement at a regional scale.

Completion is targeted for Q4 2027.
