The Ngetta Spiritual and Social Centre is a multi-facility institutional development in Lira City, commissioned to serve as a hub for spiritual formation, pastoral programmes, and community hospitality across Northern Uganda.
The centre is being developed by the Missionary Sisters of Mary Mother of the Church (MSMMC) in partnership with the Lira Diocese. The development comprises a 32-room accommodation block, multi-purpose conference halls, a restaurant, and a linked service blockĀ an integrated campus designed to support retreats, diocesan gatherings, and large-scale community programmes.
Rostwa Engineers is engaged as the structural designer and main contractor, carrying end-to-end responsibility from structural design through to construction delivery.
Construction commenced in June 2026 following a groundbreaking ceremony attended by MSMMC leadership and representatives of the Lira Diocese. The completed centre will provide institutional-grade hospitality and gathering infrastructure to one of Uganda’s key ecclesiastical regions.
Target completion: 2027.
