Diagnostic Laboratory – Bushulo Mother, Newborn and Child Health Speciality Centre

Accurate diagnosis is where good healthcare begins. At the Bushulo Mother, Newborn and Child Health Speciality Centre in Hawassa, Ethiopia, we are supporting the expansion of the hospital’s diagnostic capacity  providing project management and consultancy services for the construction of a new, dedicated Diagnostic Laboratory Department.

This facility is being built within the existing hospital grounds and is designed to serve as a larger, more capable diagnostic unit that meets the growing demands of the speciality centre. The centre focuses on maternal, newborn, and child health  and diagnostic services are critical to its mission. With the right infrastructure in place, medical teams can work faster, more accurately, and serve more patients effectively.

Our role covers the full scope of project management and consultancy from overseeing the construction process and coordinating with the contractor, Cherenet Construction, to ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the build. We work closely with all parties to keep the project on schedule and aligned with the hospital’s operational needs.
